How long have you been a member of the Patient Access Collaborative?: 8 Months
What do you like about being a member?: I "love" how the Patient Access Collaborative community members help out each other by sharing their own experiences whether it's an organizational or a reporting problem.
How has your career benefited from being a member?: As a Data analyst, I often encounter new questions related to reporting or benchmark data from my team members and other departments as well. Being a PAC member, I gained more knowledge and insights which resulted in being called "Data expert" by my team now.
What tips or advice would you give new members?: I'd definitely recommend all the new members to take all the information they can from the PAC's website as it offers an abundance of knowledge and insight into Patient Access world. Also, being more proactive with the Q/A threads will also help in gaining more perspective about PAC functionalities.
What do you love most about your job?: I love that I am contributing towards improving patient access via delivering analytics and insights to patient access center and the clinical departments. I get to see how much effort and strategies go behind improving patient access and my work directly strengthens the purpose.
What meaningful project are you working on right now?: I am working towards standardizing more metrics related to templates, slots and blocks which will further contribute towards more organizational and clinical excellence.
What career advice do you live by?: Look for opportunities and shortcomings, and try to turn shortcomings into opportunities.
Where are you from? Where did you go to school?: I currently reside in Jersey city, New jersey and I completed my MS in Analytics from Harrisburg University of science and technology, Pennsylvania.
What are your hobbies?: I love, love hiking and cooking!
Where is your favorite place you've travelled?: NYC!!
What's a fun fact that people probably don't know about you?: My feet start dancing to any upbeat music.
Who inspires you and why?: My mother is my source of inspiration because she went out in the world everyday to make my tomorrow better than today.
